पूर्ववर्ती राष्ट्रीय संस्कृत संस्थान (मानित विश्वविद्यालय) को अब संसद द्वारा पारित और महामहिम द्वारा अनुमोदित केंद्रीय संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय अधिनियम, 2020 (2020 की संख्या 5) के तहत केंद्रीय संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय, दिल्ली (सीएसयू) के रूप में प्रख्यापित किया गया है। भारत के राष्ट्रपति और 30 अप्रैल, 2020 से केंद्रीय संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय, दिल्ली के रूप में कार्य करना शुरू कर दिया।

केंद्रीय संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय, दिल्ली संस्कृत भाषा और साहित्य के संवर्धन और प्रसार के लिए विभिन्न केंद्र सरकार की योजनाओं को लागू करता है। तदनुसार, सरकार. भारत देश भर के घटक परिसरों और अन्य संस्थानों से संबंधित संस्कृत के मेधावी छात्रों को विश्वविद्यालय के माध्यम से छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान करता है। विश्वविद्यालय पूर्वमध्यमा से उत्तरमध्यमा/प्राक-शास्त्री और शास्त्री/आचार्य/विद्या-वारिधि के स्तर तक किसी भी मान्यता प्राप्त पारंपरिक पाठशाला में पाली/प्राकृत सहित संस्कृत में उच्च अध्ययन करने वाले नियमित छात्रों को अखिल भारतीय आधार पर योग्यता छात्रवृत्ति भी प्रदान करता है। माध्यमिक/उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालयों (9वीं से 12वीं कक्षा तक) और स्नातक/स्नातकोत्तर/पीएचडी स्तर के आधुनिक संस्थान।

छात्रवृत्ति उन छात्रों को दी जाती है जिन्होंने संस्कृत/पाली/प्राकृत में न्यूनतम प्रतिशत या समकक्ष ग्रेड प्राप्त किया है और सभी विषयों में कुल मिलाकर छात्रवृत्ति के लिए आवेदन किया जा सकता है –
सामान्य श्रेणी
– 60% अंक
एससी/एसटी/दिव्यांग
– 50% अंक
अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग
– 55% अंक
प्रत्येक वर्ष प्रदान की जाने वाली छात्रवृत्तियों की संख्या धन की उपलब्धता पर निर्भर करती है। ऑनलाइन आवेदन विज्ञापन के माध्यम से आमंत्रित किए जाएंगे जो हर साल जुलाई से अगस्त महीने के बीच पूरे भारत के लोकप्रिय प्रमुख समाचार पत्रों में प्रसारित होंगे।

मॉडर्न स्ट्रीम के तहत छात्रवृत्ति प्राप्त करने के लिए पात्रता मानदंड इस प्रकार हैं:-

a) The Scholarship amount shall be given for 10 month in each academic year from July to April.
b) The Scholarship for the Ph.D/Vidyavaridhi shall be given three full years i.e. 36 months.
