HTET 2023 Qualification Detail

Level Qualification
PRT/ JBT (Level 1)
  1. For Candidates with a 12th Standard Qualification:
    • Must have passed the 12th standard with a minimum of 50% marks.
    • Should have completed or be currently enrolled in a Diploma program in Elementary Education, Special Education, or B.E.Ed.
  2. For Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree:
    • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
    • Must have completed or be currently enrolled in a 2-year Diploma program in Elementary Education, Special Education, or B.E.Ed.
TGT (Level 2)
  1. For Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree:
    • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks is required.
    • Candidates must have completed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  2. For Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree:
    • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks is mandatory.
    • Candidates should possess a B.Ed or Special B.Ed degree.
  3. For Candidates with a 12th Standard Qualification:
    • Successful completion of the 12th standard with a minimum of 50% marks is necessary.
    • Candidates should have a 4-year BA B.Ed or B.Com B.Ed degree.
PGT (Level 3)
  • Candidates should hold a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks.
