Zoological Survey of India Vacancy 2025: The Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) invites applications from Indian nationals for recruitment of 06 Research Personnel on purely temporary and contractual basis under a project funded by NMHS. Academic Qualification: MSc in Zoology/Botany/Microbiology/Bioinformatics/Environmental Science or equivalent life science field, two years of research experience and a published SCI article, or submitted PhD thesis in the above domains.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Academic Qualification: Master’s degree in Botany/Zoology/Biotech/Bioinformatics/Environmental Science with at least 60% marks from a recognized university.
Desirable: Fieldwork experience in the Indian Himalayan region, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, geospatial data analysis using ArcGIS/QGIS, microbial and peatland studies.
